In Memory - Bill Henwood

On Friday January 15, 2021, the Rev William “Bill” Henwood, our beloved Director of Ministry and founding member, passed away at home in South Carolina with his wife Karen by his side. Although Bill could not travel with the mission team in recent years, he remained active providing guidance and wisdom to the Board and spreading word about the mission. It is because of Bill and Karen’s commitment and recruiting efforts that so many of us joined the JMUSA team, including their grandchildren, Kyra, Alia, Arin, Hunter, Helena, & Lance. Those who had the opportunity to serve with Bill will fondly remember his passion for the Gospel, his joyfulness, his love of the Jamaican people, and all the great stories about growing up in Jamaica. We miss Bill dearly. Please pray for Karen and family. In lieu of flowers, Karen has asked that donations be made to Jamaica Missions USA in Bill’s memory.
